Business Analytics for Managers I (1/2 day)

This session is designed to refresh working knowledge of the basic statistical concepts necessary in the decision-making process. Topics covered include application and interpretation of measures of central location (mean, median, mode), measures of relative location (percentiles: quartiles, deciles, etc.), measures of variation (range, variance, inter-quartile range, standard deviation), correlation, simple regression, estimation (mean, proportion), time series and basic hypothesis testing (mean, proportion).
